The Eco-Sapiens project, which took place from 14th to 22nd May 2024, offered participants a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of eco-friendly and sustainable living. We explored ways to harmonize our lives with nature and our planet while also uncovering how our diverse cultural traditions are inherently linked to sustainable practices. This revealed that, regardless of our backgrounds, our ancestors were already committed to protecting the environment.

The true value of this project was in the blend of new insights on environmental connectivity and green event hosting, combined with the practical application of these ideas during the exchange. Workshops, hands-on activities, and collaborative sessions allowed participants to transform theoretical knowledge into practical skills.

Since this is just the first part of the project, participants will have the chance to organize their own event using the skills and information they gained in the first part. This upcoming event will provide an exciting opportunity to showcase their learning and creativity. The second part will take place from July 1-9 in the Netherlands, where participants will further refine their abilities and continue their journey towards a more sustainable future.
