Empowered to Lead and Inspire: A Look Back at the Erasmus+ Training Course “Youth Exchange Rhapsody: A Guide to Organizing Erasmus+ Youth Projects”
Neumarkt in der Steiermark – Our Erasmus+ Training Course took place from May 25th to 31st in the stunning Europaburg in Neumarkt. The project brought together 30 youth workers from Austria and the partner countries Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Malta, Slovenia, and Spain.
This hands-on training course offered participants a deep dive into the magic of organising Youth Exchanges. It was the perfect opportunity to learn about logistics, risk management, team cooperation and creative planning, which are the essential pillars of successful youth projects.
Participants engaged in team-building activities, topic-focused workshops, and leisure time—all guided by a reflective process that encouraged personal and professional growth. From building strong teams to designing unforgettable programs, the course equipped aspiring organisers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to turn their vision into impactful experiences for young people. Moreover, the participants learned about the Youthpass, its 8 key competences and the certificate’s value as a tool for self-reflection as well as for proving the non- and informal learning progress. They improved their knowledge about the Erasmus+ programme during different workshops and had the chance to brainstorm their own ideas as well.
Youth Exchange Rhapsody wasn’t just a training—it was a transformative experience that empowered a new generation of leaders to create, inspire, and lead with purpose. The results of the project and general information about the Erasmus+ programme will be shared by follow-up events in all the participating countries. It is up to the participants to show what they have learned and share their newly found knowledge with their peers and local communities.
