Call for Participants: Erasmus+ Youth Exchange
14th – 21st July 2026

Here Comes The Sun – Brighten Your Mind.

What happens when you step outside of your everyday environment? How do social media, your friend groups, and your cultural background shape your perspectives and lives?

In this Erasmus+ Youth Exchange, we will step out of our echo chambers and disconnect from digital routines to build genuine, face-to-face connections. Through interactive workshops, we will challenge our own biases, learn to understand different viewpoints, and gather the practical tools needed to actively shape our ideal future. Join us to build a strong international community! With the help of workshops, discussions and other studying methods, we will learn to better understand people with different perspectives and will leave with a positive outlook for our future.

… to spend a week with 40 young people from 6 different countries?
… to break out of your social, cultural, and digital bubbles?
… to disconnect from technology for 5 days?
… to engage in open discussions about various topics?
… to improve your communication skills and gain a better understanding of different perspectives?
… to participate in a cultural exchange and experience new customs and languages?

APPLY HERE IF YOU …

… live in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Finland, Spain or Malta.
… are between 16 and 25 years old.
… have a basic level of English to participate in the programme.

The Erasmus+ European Youth Exchange takes place at the EUROPABURG in Neumarkt in der Steiermark, Austria, from 14th to 21st July 2026.

We will spend the week in a medieval castle, accommodated in shared dormitories with shared bathrooms. All costs for meals and accommodation during the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange are covered. Travel costs are going to be reimbursed up to a maximum amount, depending on the distance between your home town and Neumarkt in der Steiermark and the use of “green travel” *. You can apply by filling in the following ONLINE FORM latest by 15.05.2026. The selection of participants is based on individual agreements with the partner organizations. * „Green Travel“ offers a financial incentive for participants who travel sustainably and use means of transport with low-emission, such as bus, train, or carpooling for the majority of the outward and return journey. More information is provided in the info-pack.
