ATTENTION: Unfortunately, the Erasmus+ Training cannot take place this year due to the Corona (COVID-19) crisis. Because of the many restrictions that make it difficult to hold the event and the travel restrictions, we have decided to postpone the Erasmus+ Training until 2021.
As youth workers and trainers/facilitators, you are facing the challenge to create programmes and activities that meet the needs of participants in terms of wellbeing. Creating a space where participants feel safe and well is the basis to further learning and personal development. But you also need to keep in mind your own wellbeing to be able to perform well in your role. Finding the balance might be difficult especially when you are volunteering (in your free time) besides other obligations.
Our training targets trainers, facilitators, and young people who are engaged in youth work. The training course is orientated on your needs focusing on your own wellbeing and supporting young people in your projects or activities. The training has a two-fold objective: Participants cultivate wellbeing, learn about their main challenges and ways to overcome them, and get to know wellbeing methods, activities, and tools. The content will be tailored to the participants and, in a way, also co-created in an emergent way with them, as this is an important part of wellbeing. The Training will be facilitated by GRETA ROSSI who is an expert in this field.

The Erasmus+ Training takes place in the EUROPAHAUS in Neumarkt in der Steiermark, AUSTRIA from 3rd to 8th of August 2020. Together we will participate in team building activities, games and workshops connected to the topic and leisure time activities. The whole program is accompanied by a supported reflection process. We will spend the week in a medieval castle where we will be accommodated in shared dormitories with shared bathrooms. All costs for meals and accommodation are covered by Erasmus+: Youth in Action. There will be no participation fee for participants. Travel costs are going to be reimbursed up to a maximum of 275 Euro per person, depending on the distance between home town and Neumarkt in der Steiermark.
