Call for Participants: Erasmus+ Training

It’s a kind of magic

As youth workers, trainers and facilitators, you are facing the challenge to create programmes and activities that meet the needs of participants in terms of wellbeing. Creating a space where participants feel safe and well is the basis for further learning and personal development. But you also need to keep in mind your own wellbeing to be able to perform well in your role. Finding the balance might be difficult especially when you are volunteering (in your free time) besides other obligations. The training course is orientated especially towards your needs as youth workers, trainers and facilitators. Together with our trainer Fabrizio Gallo (New Wellness Education  Link: ) you will explore the connection between wellbeing and communication, how they affect each other and the people around us. The following questions will be experienced and discussed:

• How can I ensure my own wellbeing when communicating something?
• How can I ensure the wellbeing of the people I communicate with?
• How does wellbeing/badbeing affect communication?
• How are wellbeing and communication linked? (e.g. talking about something when sad, happy, annoyed, …)
• The content will be tailored to you as participants and, in a way, also co-created in an emergent way with you, as this is an important part of wellbeing.

The Erasmus+ Training takes place in the EUROPAHAUS in Neumarkt in der Steiermark, AUSTRIA from 22nd to 28th of May 2022. Together we will participate in team-building activities, games and workshops connected to the topic and leisure time activities. The whole program is accompanied by a supported reflection process. We will spend the week in a medieval castle where we will be accommodated in shared dormitories with shared bathrooms. All costs for meals and accommodation are covered by Erasmus+: Youth. There will be no participation fee for participants. Travel costs are going to be reimbursed up to a maximum of 275 Euro per person, depending on the distance between home town and Neumarkt in der Steiermark.

You can apply by filling in the following ONLINE FORM which is available until 15th of April 2022. In order to apply you need to be between 18 to 35 years old, have a basic level of English to participate in the program and be a resident of one of the eight partner countries of the Erasmus+ project (AUT, BUL, CRO, DEN, FRA, GRE, LIT, POL). The selection of participants is based on the individual agreements with the partner organisations, JEF Steiermark reserves the right to refuse applications for any reason. The training course will be organised in compliance with the legal measures against the covid pandemic. More information will be provided after the selection of participants.
