SUMMARY:Crashkurs Europawahlen
DESCRIPTION:Im Jahr 2024 finden von 6. bis 9. Juni die Wahlen zum Europäischen Parlament statt. \nAls proeuropäische Jugendorganisation ist es uns ein großes Anliegen das europäische Bewusstsein junger Menschen zu fördern und sie zu motivieren\, von ihrem Stimmrecht Gebrauch zu machen. Um junge Menschen bestmöglich über die Europawahlen zu informieren\, organisieren wir in Kooperation mit dem Steirischen Landesjugendbeirat am Samstag\, 6. April 2024 von 09:00 bis 17:30 Uhr einen Crashkurs Europawahlen. Für die Teilnahme sind keine Vorkenntnisse notwendig und wir freuen uns besonders über die Teilnahme von Europawahl-Erstwähler:innen. Am Programm stehen u. a.: \n\nWarum EU? Wieso wählen? Wo informieren?\nStaatenbund oder Bundesstaat – Wie funktioniert die Europäische Union?\nVon deiner Stimme zum Mandat. Wahlystem & Wahlmodalitäten.\nDie wahlwerbenden Parteien & Kandidat:innen\nDie „heißen Eisen“ der EU-Debatte\nIm Gespräch für Europa. Wie ich mein Umfeld motiviere!\n\nDie Veranstaltung findet im Plenarsaal des Europäischen Fremdsprachenzentrums (Nikolaiplatz 4\, 8010 Graz\, Innenhof) statt. Die Anmeldung ist mittels Online-Formular möglich. \nBei Bedarf ist eine Übernahme bzw. ein Zuschuss zur An- und Abreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln möglich. DESCRIPTION:Gute Gespräche in guter Gesellschaft! \nMonatlich treffen sich Mitglieder und Interessierte am „European Monday“ zum Europa-Stammtisch in Graz. In einem Pub\, im Park oder im JEF Büro wird über aktuelle (europa-)politischen Fragestellungen diskutiert. Die monatlichen Stammtische bieten eine gute Chance unseren Verein und überzeugte junge Europäerinnen und Europäer kennenzulernen. Bei kühlen Getränken und anregenden Gesprächen ist jede und jeder willkommen. SUMMARY:Spring Federal Committee Meeting (FC)
DESCRIPTION:The Federal Committee (FC) meets twice a year and is responsible for formulating JEF resolutions policies. It is the main decision-making body between the European Congresses of JEF Europe. The Federal Committee is mainly composed of one representative of each national section of JEF and 16 members elected directly by the Congress. This allows JEF to combine national representatives with directly elected European representatives united in one assembly (instead of two different chambers) – federalism in practice! \nAll FC members together are interacting with the Executive Bureau (EB) like a parliament interacts with a government and holds it accountable. Each of the 16 directly elected members of the FC is also responsible for one area of political or organisational activity being the (co-)chair of one of the Political Commissions or Task Forces respectively. \nHERE you can find more information about the Spring Federal Committee Meeting 2024 in Tartu (Estonia). \nParticipation in this training programme is financially supported by Land Steiermark. \n
